Job Vacancy - Apprentice CNC Machinist
At Pro-Mil Engineering we are currently looking for a new apprentice to join our team and help expand the business. We are looking for an enthusiastic, bright and hard-working individual who is willing to test themselves on a daily basis in an extremely diverse and technical environment.
An apprentice’s key responsibilities would include:
- Learning how to operate and set one of our multi-million-pound 3 axis CNC machines.
- Creating, setting and measuring state of the art tooling used on the CNC machinery.
- Operating our five large overhead cranes which can lift up to 50 tonnes.
- Conforming and assisting with the upkeep of our health and safety legislation.
- Using laser calibration equipment to measure and adjust the squareness of machinery to conform with tight tolerances.

Job Vacancy - Trainee CNC Machinist
At Pro-Mil Engineering we are currently looking for a Trainee CNC Machinist to join our team and help expand the business. It is paramount that the ideal candidate has experience operating and setting CNC machinery. We are looking for an enthusiastic, bright and hard-working individual who is willing to test themselves on a daily basis in an extremely diverse and technical environment.
A Trainee CNC machinists key responsibilities would include:
- Learning how to operate and set one of our multi-million-pound 3 axis CNC machines.
- Creating, setting and measuring state of the art tooling used on the CNC machinery.
- Operating our five large overhead cranes which can lift up to 50 tonnes.
- Conforming and assisting with the upkeep of our health and safety legislation.
- Commanding one of our large multi-million-pound CNC machines.
- Understanding CNC programs and amending information within them.
- Learning and advancing skills whilst operating a Fanuc control system.
